To know God and to glorify him — that's why we exist.

Lately I have found myself in a constant battle with this world, being consumed with the all of things that truly just, do not matter. I know I am not the only one who feels this way. I can easily get drawn into the gossip of the week, arguing with my spouse over something that in the grand scheme of things is honestly pointless, or being consumed with my never ending task list that sometimes take priority over my family time, but more importantly my time with God. Did I just say that? How could I let anything be more important than God?

Let me just take a beat and breathe. 😮‍💨

In the moment of chaos life just doesn't makes sense. I have to remind myself when I feel this way I have a friend. I have a friend that is always going to be there for me when I fall and feel defeated. Its God, he always comes through and catches me!

Sometimes we just need to recenter and remind ourselves what is important and why we exist to begin with. What our true purpose in life is! News flash, its not the gossip, the arguments, or that never ending task list.

Its Knowing God and glorifying Him. 🙌🏻 It is our one true purpose, we were physically created for this. All of the other minuscule things pale in comparison to God. Keeping Christ as our focus is in our very own DNA. I have to remind myself that our lifes mission, is the mission of God. What a true blessing that He has chosen us! Our hearts beat for him and he continues to fuel my soul when I veer off the road I am traveling on. (I veer off more times than I would like to admit.)

I have graciously accepted to live my life as an offering, I whole heartedly give myself up to God so that he can do his will! When I shut out all of the other noise I can hear him, I feel drawn to his mission.

So friends you are not alone we are in this together. God tells us the importance of community. We need that support system, when we come together to glorify him there is nothing sweeter on this earth.
